About Sallie

Welcome! I am a certified Shibashi Qigong and Tai Chi for Health instructor dedicated to helping you find balance, strength and inner peace.

Through mindful movement and breathwork, I guide people to reduce stress, improve physical mobility, and enhance their overall well-being.

My Journey

  • Discovery: I started practicing Tai Chi & Qigong in the 1990s. I found it helpful for falls prevention and maintain strength whilst working in reablement for older people and then rehabilitation for post surgery and COPD at an NHS hospital.

  • Resilience: The movements helped me cope with work stress as an associate psychologist and manage menopause symptoms after abruptly stopping HRT for health reasons.

  • Passion: The profound recognition of how Tai Chi and Qigong helped more than anything else I tried, inspired me to share these ancient healing arts with others.

  • Training: I studied Tai Chi Qigong for health under Master Wing Cheun (Tai Chi Qigong & Feng Shui Institute) and Senior Sifu Catherine Burnett (London Shiatsu College). I studied Tai Chi for health under Dr Lam (6th Generation Yang style).
